Porcelain Veneers

What are Porcelain Veneers?

Veneers are small porcelain shells that can be attached to the very front of your teeth. They are designed to hide flaws and imperfections like discoloration, staining, cracks, chips and gaps. Veneers are custom-crafted for each individual patient for a flawless and natural finish. They can last for about 10 years before you may want to consider having them replaced.

Who Is A Candidate For Porcelain Veneers

Who is a candidate for Porcelain Veneers?

Your front teeth should be healthy enough to properly hold onto the veneer. If the front teeth are decayed or severely damaged, veneers may not be the right option for you. We examine your teeth prior to suggesting veneers as a quick and easy cosmetic fix. Most of our patients who want veneers can have the procedure done easily in our office.

What happens during the Porcelain Veneer procedure?

We start by preparing the front teeth to receive the veneers. This involves slightly roughing them up and buffing them to ensure proper adhesion of the porcelain. We then take impressions and use the detailed molds provided to make the new veneers. You will come in for a second appointment in order for us to place the veneers. Each veneer is placed one-by-one so that they fit properly and look natural. You’ll love having a full, bright, white and beautiful smile that you can feel confident in showing off for many years to come.
