What are Dental Implants Restoration?

Dental implants are designed to completely replace a missing tooth. They work with your body and fuse naturally with the jawbone to provide you with a lifetime of gorgeous, healthy-looking teeth. We are able to provide you with the restorations that are needed to be placed over these implants. This fills in the areas where you’re missing teeth in a natural, precise manner.

What Are Dental Implants Restoration

Why would Dental Implants Restoration be needed?

Dental implants themselves are simply posts that are surgically embedded into the jawbone. Once the implant has been given time to heal, a restoration needs to be made for the top of the implant. Most often, this involves making a crown or bridge that is specific to the implant where it is needed. These restorations are essential for filling in your smile and improving your appearance.

Why Would Dental Implants Restoration Be Needed

Who is a candidate for Dental Implants Restoration?

If you’ve recently had an implant placed, we will recommend coming in to have a new restoration made for it. This is essential in filling in your smile and improving your overall appearance. We can examine your teeth and gums to ensure that the implant has healed properly and is ready to have a restoration placed. Depending on the amount of implants that have been placed, we can make either a crown or bridge for these areas.

What happens during the Dental Implants Restoration process?

The restoration procedure begins after the implant has healed properly. We take impressions of the area and use these to make a personalized restoration. You will then come back into the office to have the crown or bridge placed over the implant’s foundation or abutment. We polish and make minor adjustments to the new restoration before you leave the office. Your new restoration can last for many years and will need to be fully replaced as it shows signs of wear. The implant should last a lifetime and will not need to be repaired or replaced.

what are our patients saying?

Great service, knowledgeable doctor. I visited Optima Dental Spa and was incorrect told the basic service I needed to be provided was not covered by insurance. At Optima they took three unnecessary x-rays. Dr. v was more knowledgeable and didn’t require x-rays to cement my crown back on. Highly recommend him.
